Andrea Rawluk, PhD


I am a Melbourne-based environmental sociologist, with an international background in social change and environmental challenges.

I currently examine community perspectives of bushfire and how these can be integrated into policy in Victoria, Australia, at the University of Melbourne, working with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (State Government Victoria).

I am an environmental sociologist that has originally come from Canada and now calls Australia home. I have studied and worked at McGill University, the University of Alberta, Charles Sturt University, and am now based at the University of Melbourne. My research crosses interdisciplinary social ecological research.
